Marketing & strategy
Flowstate approaches marketing as a decision discipline: define the commercial question, read the local context, compare the alternatives and make the next move clearer.
Available for focused research commissions, market-entry briefs, positioning work and hospitality concepts.
Which city, district or audience offers the strongest first point of entry?
Where is the market crowded, and where can a brand occupy a more distinctive position?
What are people choosing, avoiding and expecting—and what does that mean commercially?
How should a stay, destination or guest experience respond to its local context?

Define the real decision, the market boundary and the evidence that matters.
Combine official data, category signals, city context and direct field notes.
Read competitors, audiences and places against a consistent strategic lens.

About Flowstate
Flowstate Agency is an owner-operated Norwegian business founded by Mathias Lindberg-Johansen. Alongside business administration studies, it brings together marketing, strategy, international business and a growing field-oriented focus on South Korea, China and the wider APAC region.
The ambition is deliberately focused: useful research, refined recommendations and thoughtful service—without inflated claims, invented experience or one-size-fits-all answers. Flowstate is being built in public, with the research practice deepening as new cities, stays and commercial questions are explored.
Clear language, honest framing and decisions made easier.
Culture, geography and behaviour before generic advice.
Senior, owner-led work and a deliberately limited volume.
